Virgin Comics is soon launching a whole range of new comic book series.. many of them based on our Hindu mythological figures. Here's a small preview of whats in store for us

This is very interesting because Ramayana has been made into cartoon movies in East Asia before and even by Japanese cartoon strips. I have read Ramayana and it certainly has the potential. Good one!!

Isn't the artwork truly awesome? I'd first read the free Virgin Comics #0 at ign.com in July and had mentioned it in my blog. The ign link is still active -http://comics.ign.com/articles/712/712865p1.html
Last I heard, Rachna Books was planning to bring Virgin Comics to Gangtok. Let's see if Raman can pull it off...

would be a good thing... i remember enjoying the amar chitra katha comics and learning a lot more abt mythology than from plain texts in other children's books...

Yup Ricky, that's true...but this one's a bit different...in a totally new avatar...as a super hero! So should be pretty cool!
